I offer you a green smoothie for the ages; my “beauty smoothie”. In those moments when you’ve given it all, this potion rebuilds depleted mineral reserves, and then some.
For sluggish organs and sticky blood from living off sugar to keep going: kale, celery, ginger and cinnamon filter out inflammatory toxins.
For burned out adrenals and wacked hormones from not enough sleep and too much cruel self talk: avocado, almonds and dates replenish electrolyte balance, essential fatty acids and protein.
Coconut water and green apple round it out for a hint of sweetness and hydration.
When gut function, stress hormones and blood come into balance, our sex hormones start oozing and warms our reproductive system. As we invite these systems to harmonize, we revitalize our “ojas” or essential vitality. While our industrialized meal-skipping culture slings ice cold smoothies these days as a replacement for lunch or breakfast, I implore you to serve this room temperature and eat with a big spoon to soothe the system {instead of shock it}.

1 cup coconut water
squeeze of ½ lemon
½ cup almonds
2 dates
¾ green apple
2-3 large leaves kale
2 medium stalks celery
1-2” fresh ginger root
1 tbs. cinnamon
